Who We Are
The Friends of Putah Creek is a non-profit, all volunteer-based organization dedicated to the preservation of natural habitat on Putah Creek and to scientifically-sound restoration and stewardship activities. We are motivated only by our interest in ensuring that current and future generations will have the opportunity to observe and enjoy the natural evolution of the creek as it is shaped by water, weather, and wildlife. Our membership includes scientists, engineers, and environmentalists, as well as residents whose expertise was acquired through their observation and appreciation of nature and the natural processes of the Creek.
